When we left Parry Sound just after 10am, the sky was still grey, and it was windy, but we knew that it was going to clear. We headed west through Parry Sound (the sound, not the town), then followed the small craft route past hundreds of rocks and islands. Glad we did not go through Cannoe Channel. It is not recommended for boats over 40 feet. Too narrow!
Anchored for the night in a cove along the west side of Shanawanaga Inlet, near Anchor Island. We rowed to shore to explore. Beautiful day!
