We left Chicago at dawn, and motored south about 10 miles to the Calumet River. Another two miles along the river, waiting for three bridges to open and a tug and barge to pass us, then we arrived at Skyway Yacht Works.
Great place! They pulled our mast, and ordered a manual bilge pump.
Since we had to wait for the pump until the next day, we motored back to Lake Michigan. Night at Hammond Marina in Indiana.
