We were frozen all day. The high for the day was about 60 degrees, and the wind was blowing from the north. My mother was smart, spending most of the day on her bunk, reading The Adventires of Huckleberry Finn.
We went through two locks, and covered 36 miles. Tied up at the Quincy boat club.
Dinner at the restaurant next door that is built over the river on a huge piling. We enjoyed catching up with Bill, who Jim worked with at the VA, and his wife Linda.
