Along with Matt on Mistral, we left our anchorage behind Wolf Island at 6:10am, and headed toward Pickwick Lock and Dam. It was only a 12 mile trip, but the closer we got to the dam, the slower we went. We were down to 3.2 knots by the time we reached the dam. Some current!
We pulled into Pickwick Landing State Park Marina just beyond the lock at 10:15am, filled up our diesel tanks, said goodbye (for now) to Matt, and settled into our slip next to Cocomo and Diadema.
The marina did not have a courtesy car, so I spent the afternoon doing laundry and taking a walk over to the state park lodge and back. It was a spectacular fall afternoon.
Dinner on Heron with Wayne, Vicki, Barbara, and Jorge. Fun!
