We had a welcoming committee of cormorants and Pelicans greeting us as we entered Captiva’s South Sea Resort and Marina after a 37 mile motor south.
Our other welcoming committee was Mike and Marylin. They had anchored Sweet Pea in the Gulf, and dinghied into the marina. Two days later, when they were tied to a mooring ball at Ft Meyers Beach, we picked them up in our enormous rental car, and brought them to United Bistro for dinner. My cousin Adrie from Bermuda owns the restaurant with her husband. Great time with them and our daughter Alexandra, her family, and my mother!
