We spent all day on Saturday moving out of Chris’s condo and back onto our boat. It was Jim’s birthday, and we went to the movies and then out to dinner.
By 9:30am on Sunday we had returned our rental car, filled the port tank with Diesel, and headed off to the Everglades. It was another gorgeous day, not much wind, gentle seas, as we rounded the shoals off Cape Romano and headed toward Little Shark River.
A squall hit just minutes before we reached the river, and we were drenched despite our raincoats. Quiet night at anchor. I thought it was weird that our solenoid cut out on our propane stove while I was heating up leftovers. We crawled into the v-berth early, waiting for the bugs to arrive.
