On Monday evening, we were invited for docktails on Gray Ghost. I always like to contribute, so I created bruschetta with peppers instead of tomatoes. They we easy to pick up, less messing than tomatoes would have been, and overall ok! Gray Ghost was docked next to us, and they had all the “neighbors” over. Fun!
We learned on Monday afternoon that our alternator had tested to be ok. That meant that our regulator needed to be replaced. The new regulator would be shipped to arrive on Wednesday. What to do? I rented a car from Enterprise, and they picked me up on Tuesday morning. Since we had a car, we had to go on a road trip. Thank God for cell phones! I learned that Jenny Owen would be busy all day in Jupiter (but we still went to see the lighthouse near her home), but that Helen Gaillard and Chip were free for lunch in Port St Lucie. Great fish taco for lunch, great time with Helen and Chip.
On our drive south, we stopped at Publix for a sushi dinner in the grocery store parking lot. Then on to see Eye in the Sky, a fabulous movie.
