I spent most of this day at sea curled up on one of the white leather sofas in the Explorer’s lounge in the bow on the 7th deck. Most of the sofas in the lounge have a lovely soft reindeer fur draped over the back. Not good if you are wearing black, but fine for me! The wait staff now know that I love English breakfast tea with milk. At various times during the day, they slide back the doors of Mamsen’s. They have yummy Norwegian delights: waffles, pastries, soup, open faced sandwiches, etc…. We have not tried the 3 kinds of herring yet!
