Day 43, Foxton NZ reunion

Thursday, December 15, 2022.

At 5:15am we pushed our baggage trolley across the walkway and checked in for our Quantas flight to New Zealand. I was sucking on a cough drop, hoping no one would spot my cough and refuse to let me board the plane.
We landed in Wellington, rented a car, and drove north for 2 hours. My cousin Sarah and her husband Jim have restored the old racing club in Foxton. Jim loves to tinker, and he had restored a wonderful musical cart that played by key punched cards.

Our daughter Katie and her family met us in Foxton as planned. We were planning on traveling around New Zealand together for the next two weeks.
