The good news is that Heron’s
Mast is down and packed to travel horizontally on the boat until we reach Georgian Bay. The bad news is that there are a few chunks out of her keel as a result of her bar room brawl with the rock near Cold Spring.
We were lucky to find a wonderful bed and breakfast in Catskill. Caleb Street’s Inn is run by Rita Landy. Perfect, relaxing place, across the creek from our boat.

We hope to be on our way again soon!
