Some things are just not meant to  be. We thought the guys at the marina would put our boat in the water today. We could at least move back on board, and perhaps get a few miles in before the bad weather moved in.

Jim finished his fiberglass work on the keel, I checked us out of our bed and breakfast, stocked up at the grocery store, and had just arrived at the rental car company to return the car, when Jim called.  The high tide was 5″ too low for our boat. Next potential high tide will be at midnight. It’s amazing that the guys in the Marina would contemplate putting a boat in the water on a Saturday night, in a storm!

So, I kept the rental car, and we moved back into the b&b. Time will tell when we leave!
