We flew to Portland, Oregon via Oakland, California. Long day! I bought a bag of Kona potato chips in the airport, and they were great. We had walked by the factory on our way to and from fish tacos on the day we visited the parrot sanctuary on the Big Island.

I watched the first Lord of the Rings movie to see the scenes filmed in New Zealand. Amazingly, the movie ended exactly as we touched down in California!
