We had a wonderful morning playing on the floating trampoline, slide, and rafts at the Beachwood Resort.
We headed off for Bobcaygeon, about 23 miles from our anchorage. Just one lock today, at Buckhorn. We anchored near Coppaway Point and all but Jim and my mother rowed ashore. The dinghy does not hold 8! We were met on shore by an official for the Whetung Ojibwa Crafts and Arr Gallery who drove us up the hill to the gallery. Fun side trip for the girls to see Indisn artifacts and crafts.
Most of the afternoon was spent on Pigeon Lake. The fort under the settee was a big hit, as well as the sunshade fort on the fore deck. We arrived at Bobcaygeon lock 32 after closing time, allowing us to tie up on the blue line.
Dinner with Hermione and Robin at a restaurant steps from our boat. They had delivered Katie and Ira’s car! Yeah. My mother, Jim, and I spent the night in the Bobcaygeon Inn.
