Monday August 3, 2015 and the next two weeks
It took us a few hours to motor against the wind and the waves on Georgian Bay, and we arrived at the Wye Herotage Marina mud-afternoon. It is a huge marina, with 700 slips, a service department, ship’s store, laundry, and a restaurant. It also has a pool and playground, important for our six year old first mate.
Lots of things to take care of at this stop: step the mast, check the damage from the rock at lovk 7 (see photo), send prop off to have it straightened (after hitting submerged log in the Erie Canal), change the oil, etc…
Nice Marina, and the pool was wonderful!
